Pulau Ubin was fun!!!

so fun tt it was worth waking up at 7.10am. Really. Though we were all late lah... lol... (expect Maru, dunno y so punctual)

today only got me n sweez n vin n cheeki, along with maru, yinghui, and their PW group members Melissa, Rachel and Marilyn. Shooting shared a bike with Melissa and the rest of us got one each. Sweez's chain came off halfway, and Vinny expert-ly repaired it. (Vinny very MT too!) and Cheeki blamed it on the Indian guy who rented the bikes to us, juz because he's indian. and by the way, the bike rental there very cheap. From $3 per day. We rented better bikes at 6 bucks.(or at least, the 3 guys n i did)

While the group went to interview people for their project, the other 4 of us cycled around, exploring. Actually they wanted to go onto tt slope again (which was horrible, the uphill damm hard to go up lah!! but coming down is really shiok muz admit) but then i was really tired, so they decided to go straight instead of going right towards the slope.

AND WE FOUND A NEW WORLD!!

haha, not exactly a new WORLD, but it was something different at least. the path was small stones, then a slope, then mud road with lots of bumps filled with water. We all ended up dirtying ourlegs with mud. My shorts, shirt and even bag are not spared either. then we reacherd the sort of end and didnt wanna go on, so we turned back. then cheeki did smth we all laughed at. he fell!!! lol... cuz it was the stone path, and he rode my the sides, and the road juz gave way. and so he fell. and damaged his bike too. that was only accident number 1.

accident number 2: cheeki was riding front of sweez. swees told him "cheeki, turn right." and cheeki, being cheeki, turned left instead of right. and collided straight into sweez. and while cheeki was still trying to figure out wad happen, he was trapped between the two bikes and sweez was on the floor.

and we brought the rest of them to the new trail anyway. lol... they had fun too (or so i think) and halfway back, marilyn, mel and maru (all the Ms) went to interview someone and we waited ahead, thinking they were riding slowly cuz of the difficult path. and there was this interesting signboard saying "oh yea oh yea, y u so like that? come buy a drink lah!" lol.. so cute. and we really did went to get drinks there.

collection of injuries: 4 briuses(dunno how i get), 1 cut (i realised only after i saw the bleeding) and infinity mosquito bites(thanks to someone's insect repellent. it's supposed to be an insect repellant for goodness sake) and being as red as lobster on my hands and face n even leg. and a hurt butt. lol.

and last but not least, marilyn called me yvonne!!!! -_-" i diao-ed.

and oh, we met xinyi today! at tanah mera mrt station. she changed her hairstyle, i didn't recoginse her till she called me. Vin recognised her at one look.
