I met huixian today!!! haha... i mean, my friend, not my junior. anyway, i was so surprised to see her. go good lor, holiday liao. my exams are barely 2 weeks away!!! haha... she is still lao yang zi, still wearing tt pink shirt that she's so fond of wearing. still the same length of hair, still the same smile, the same way of talking. but the feeling is different. when we were both back in secondary school, the feeling of seeing each other will be like "hello." and now? the first thing i said was "HuiXian!! Hao jiu bu jian!!!" take note the number of exclaimation marks. she looked abit paiseh-ed. i don't know how to exactly phrase it. it's like, in the past, you see a bird, and to you, it's just a bird. and when u havent seen a bird for a very long time, and you suddenly see one, you'll go "OMG, it's a freaking bird!!" tt kind of thing. yea, it's still the same bird, it's just u haven't seen a bird for such a long time, you're so surprised. well, u get what i mean.

enough about the bird, or rather, about huixian. let's talk about CIP today. we performed magic tricks to the patients in AMK hospital. actually our grp only showed 2 patients cuz of the time shortage. there was this uncle, english speaking and educated (he was a teacher), yet ironically telling us ' the more education one gets, the more stubbon one is.' and again ironically, he said that 'saving money for ur children is no use, you give them an education and let them work' didn't he just mention the negative impact of education on young ppl? and he is a teacher. and again ironically, he told us how the chinese think about making money the moment they open their eyes in the morning, and how much better the malays are. and he's a chinese.

and talk about chinese, i just watched russell peter's comedy franni lent me. hailrious i would say. "china man... china man..." shooting (no pun intended) noodles, hitting bad guys with stale fortune cookies that says "confucius says: go to jail, bad boy" haha... my dad says it's shown on channel 5. i wonder how the censorship board allows it to be broadcasted when it's so racist. and when 3 people have been arrested for making racist remarks on the internet.

suddenly, everything around me seem so ironic today.
