I was talking to Vinny about many many many things juz now, and this topic kinda came up : being hypocritical. Vinny was telling me, being hypocritical is a virtue. WhY? Because,
-hypocrisy helps prevent senseless arguments
-hypocrisy stops useless fighting before it begins
-hypocrisy builds and fosters the ILLUSION OF PEACE AND HARMONY, so that our future generations will NEVER KNOW OF WAR AND PAIN and never need to be inured to suffering

humans are twisted, even our virtues are twisted
everything is twisted
wad is right and wrong?
there is no such thing, not because of some grey area or shit like that. there is no such thing BECAUSE THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE
good = evil
right = wrong
thats the truth where humans are concerned

is that the truth, or is that the truth only to vinny because of how he percieve it? Though I kinda think that hypocrisy does prevent conflict, but on the surface only. On the surface, people may be friendly, outgoing, forgiving, having many many virtues. Deep down inside, we don't really know what they're thinking, do we?

Another thing that I'm thinking about is wad my mei, huixian said. She told me "Very often, it is secrets that breake people apart." Which I think is true. When frens start keeping secrets from each other, they'll start guessing what the others are hiding from them too, and start suspecting each other. And start distrusting each other. And end up hurting each other.
