Chinese New Year is coming!! Woooohhhh!!!
5 reasons to love Chinese New Year
1) Ang Pows!!
Ang Pows are undoubtly the best things that can happen to anyone during the new year ( if u're nt married) Married people seem to consider CNY a time to bleed though. Or, to put it in a nice way, a time to be generous. Calculators out everyone!
2) 5 day holiday (for this year)
Our long awaited holiday!! Ever since school started, everyone's been real busy. Rushing thru mountains of tutorials accumulated from last year... tackling a Green Monster *ahem ahem* lol... it's been a tough 3 weeks for everyone. We deserve a break!

3) Visiting relatives
It's always nice to see ur relatives, especially thouse u see once in a year. And hear them fuss over how much u've grown (though some will probably forget hu u r till ur grandma proudly intorduces u for th 17th time in ur life). And hear them say "Have you taken ur PSLE?" while u reply "I'm taking A level this year."
4) New Yr goodies
Traditional cookies r still the best! Pineapple tarts, kueh lapis, sugee cookies... the endless list, not including choc n sweets! And you get to go house to house and taste everyone's cookies n bbq pork! (disregarding the fact that bbq pork is super oily)
5) The chance to spend $$ aft CNY!!
Bus fare for visiting relatives to collecting Ang Pow: $10
