Ta da! a little free now, shall blog about Yinghui's birthday party last night. It's too nice not to blog about!

Yesterday, 27th April 2006, was Yinghui's birthday. Hardcorers gathered at her house to celebrate her birthday. Yh's mum was very nice to invite us over and cooked for us. The chicken wings she cooks is really nice!! I had 3!! oops! hahaha... nvm, today de NAPFA test cancel out it's effect liao.

Initially, we waited for Cui, so we sat around the coffee table in the living room, watching some lame tv show, chatting, drinking soup. Suddenly, FLIES ATTACK! You know, those kind of flies that are attracted to light and will commit suicide by diving into water. Ya, those kind. So yh's dad off the lights. So the flies got attracted to the only source of light available: TV. Guess who was sitting in front of the TV? Yepp, none other than the birthday girl! She freaked out at ran to hide behind todds who was sitting on a rather big chair.

Vinny: "You know ah, the fact that you have to hide behind a toddler is just..."

Hahaha... Anyway, the flies flew off and the lights on again. This time, yh's dad closed the screen door and on the aircon. And we got a little too hungary, we decided to ps cui and start eating. I attacked the chicken wings first. Can't help it, it was almost telling me "Come on, eat me, I'm delicious." Cheeki keeps drinking ribena. The rest of us juz eat happily. Then Cui came. He stood at the door. We could see him.

yh: "yvonne!!!"
todds: "ur house lei."
me: "aiyah, he will come in and say 'Yvonne! wo lai le!' "
everyone else: "*agree*
Vinny: "No la! He will run in, shouting 'Yvonne!', then pause to say Happy Birthday to Yh, then continue running to yh." *acts out*

Vinny is so funny la!!! And Josh made me realise i've lost my touch in telling lame jokes. Ai, not the Euni I used to be.

And I saw Maggg!! OMG!! I finally see Mag and her pink braces!! *grins* I got blue and pink ones :) Magg rox!

After dinner, we rested a while before tackling the cake. Sitting at the round table with the HC-ers made me understand why I like this gang so much. We just sat around and chatted thru dinner, and then continue after dinner. for about 3 hours, we just sat at the table, chatting about the most random stuff. Sometimes, there would be a moment of silence and suddenly someone usually me, yh or shoots) will burst out laughing. then everyone would laugh cuz we're laughing over nothing.

It was nice to suan Swee! Hahahah... Josh shoots him at every opportunity. (shooting didn't though) the gals asked who Vinny likes (or so we think he does, cuz of his blog) and vinny's answers were, well, Vinny. I don't expect to get anything out of him and didn't. Yh and cheeki are as blur as each other. Everytime the gang was in the midst of laughter, there will always be a face telling us i-am-lost or wad-r-u-guys-talking-about?

I GOT GOLD FOR NAPFA!!!!

OMG!! My very first time getting GOLD!! And it's my very last time taking NAPFA!! Irony!

I am so suay today la!!

Sit and reach: my weakest station (almost) So I Tommy ask mi to take immediately after my 2.4 run. So I did. 1st attempt: 48cm. Not bad! i thought. Then Bee Fong said "49 is A lei!" then i -_-" 1 cm!! 1 freaking cm!!! So I do again, and then got 49cm. 刚刚好!

Stnading broad jump 1st try i jumped 180. then i asked tommy wad grade. he say dunno. then devi went to check. 181 is B!!! Wth!! 1cm! Then i jump again. 2nd try: 180 again!!! Super pissed liao!! Then 3rd try, I 豁出去 le! When I land all my classmates present cheered. I turned around: 190!! OMG!! My 1st time!!

Then i did my sit ups, which was ok. My classmates all help me count as I do (i was the only one doing) Stress! then they help me count down to 31. I did 31 sit ups in 51 secs! Not very impressive but well, it was good attempt :)

When I was about to leave, I checked the charts again. Then I realised: my inclined pull up is still a D!! Cuz that Victor la! Stupid Victor! On Monday I do inclined ma, then i do until 10 i tired liao. Cuz juz finish 2.4. Then i let go. Then aft I let go, Victor tell me "11 is C lei" wth!! nv tell mi earlier!! if tell mi i do 1 more then gao dim liao ma! Crap. Then Victor walked past us, so I asked him to help mi record inclined, i do again. My classmates all -_- when they heard tt la! Anyway, I did like, 20+ but victor only count 19. And I buay tahan liao. Hand suan leg suan and my feet slipping cuz the stupid ground so slippery. So I let go at 19. Can liao la. Elyse say I'm super bear!! :)

When I went to toilet with Apple, I looked at my face in the mirror. It was redder than an apple! (pun intended) OMG, i looked like i put lots of blusher! And it was like, 20 mins after I finished my NAPFA. I went home soaked in sweat (stupid dry fit shirt, dun absorb sweat), red faced, and tired like crap.

when i reached my lift, THE FREAKING LIFT BROKE DOWN!!! -_-" i walked up 8 storeys. :(

I am not sitting in front of my computer screen, typing out this entry, and talking to Cheeki and Ah Long at the same time. I refrain from going into my room and sitting down to mug because I stayed up to finish my hw till 3 last night, and woke up at 8+ to continue, juz to have some free time for myself today. I need a break, and I'm getting it now.

I juz browsed Eleanor's blog and read her entry about parent's day. I was lucky enough to escape it with my kind of results. I think it's cuz Mrs Tan sees no problem with my conduct (i'm nt praising myself). I'm not late for school, I'm absent only once in a while and I take effort to participate in class discussions. But my results... hai. My chem nv seem to improve. I always make stupid mistakes at major exams and ya noe... it juz, well. My Maths is getting from bad to worst. If i dun get an A in the A lvl exams i seriously dunno wad to do; it's my most hopeful subject yet the results seem quite bleak.

Ai.. i should stop talking about such demoralizing stuff. It's back to school tml. Jia you!

On a more pleasant note, I went out with the PM gang yesterday. It was quite the usual. Yan Qing's birthday, went for steamboat dinner at Bugis. Then we walked around, trying to look for a place to sit down and chat. But well, Bugis, being just bugis, was simply too crowded. Some act cool person then suggested going to TCC. Good choice I must say. And we headed to Centerpoint.

TCC was nice, it wasn't noisy so we caN hear each other talk, and it isn't too quiet tt we dun dare to talk. shuyi and i shared an oreo-mocha drink tt was very nice! we got the sofa seats after a while. that's when we started to high. cameras out, snap snap!! here are some of the snapshots:

*wipes dust off blog* i haven't been updating this blog for hmm... some days now. though the layer of dust is no doubt, much less than nana's, swee's, yh's, todd's, and of cuz, cui's. ok, i shall start giving this dusty place some new entries.

let's start by talking about my favourite place: School. (like real) On thursday, (or was it friday?) kukugers decided that our presence is a nuisance to the neighbours, and ban us from eating in the coffeeshop outside school. "I don't care, you all cannot eat outside school anymore. I don't understand how you can talk and eat at the same time." Not that we will give a damm about it though. This is plain stupid. Serious. Someone save this poor guy, he's going bonkers. Since when was meals a quiet affair? I mean, of cuz, me, being model student, will listen to the kukuger. And this is wad's going to happen when I go for lunch with my classmates:

Jay: "Wad u all wanna eat?"

S5A: "Shhhh!!" *finger to lips*

Jay: "Oops! Sorry! I go order first."

S5A: "Shhhh la!" *put Jay's finger to his lips*

me: i go order food (write on paper)

S5A: *nods*

10 mins later....

hawker: "Char kwey teow! Whose char kwey teow??"

me: *wave like mad, but hawker didn't see me*

me: "ummm!"

S5A: "Shhhhhh!!!"

me: *shut up* hawker goes away, irritated tt no one takes her chay kwey teow.

me: *stomach start growling*

S5A: "Shhhhhhhhhhh!!"

The last Shhhhhhh was abit too loud. It got the whole coffeeshop to look at our table.

S5A: "OOPS!" *prepare to take our bags n zao lor*

customer OS: "so noisy! muz take the picture show to kukuger!" *takes out camera*

Jay: "hey! taking pic!!" *calls out to us "oii! wait lei, ppl wanna take our pic lei! quick pose!!"

S5A: "On ah!" *pose*

wan xuan: "uncle, ur camera how many megapixel de? not good i dun take de hor!" '

Shannen is a weird, crazy, traumatising, sick and psychotic person. She tried to psycho mi into believing wad she said (and keeps trying to prove her point) Truth is, i dunno wad is the real truth. Instinct tells me nt to believe her, but you noe, me being me, i'm nv good at seeing if ppl r really telling the truth, or juz exgerrating(can't spell). Nana and I talked about quite alot today on our way home from school. It's quite nice to talk to Nana, cuz she's one that thinks alot, but thing is, she tried a little too hard to make mi see from her pov (i think). But i still love nana! there is truth in wad she says. nana rox! (despite being traumatising and scary)

ODAC's Night Cycling ended quietly with everyone seh-ed by 10am this morning. By the time Todds and I reach the end point, most of the participants were lying on the flood, seh-ed, tired out by the 13 hr biking session. And we were the last of the people to arrive back. My butt hurts, and so does Toddie's. Why? Cuz of the stupid truck which does not haf a smooth floor AND had to bump us when we felt like it.

It was quite fun though. I fell asleep a little and Toddies was beside me. Somehow, I managed to squeeze her and for 10 mins, she has me squashing her and a moving truck which made her bang her head against the railings every 10 seconds. Poor Toddies. And we were quite high at around 2-3am. And start doing weird things like "5, 10, durian!" and "We are going round and roooound!" Hahahahahaha!! Quite fun, but seriously, it was quite tiring cuz I woke up at 7am that day!! Dumb maths lect. I go there to tok with Swee, Nana and Yinghui only lah. PnC this kind of thing, juz let us study by ourselves can liao ma. Dunno ask tutor lor, dun ask then too bad la.

Back to the cycling part. Ong is such a cow brain. (as said by elyse) Stupid idiot. He thinks I cannot cycle cuz I look 'gu niang'. i am so NOT a gu niang!! And i can cycle perfectly well, mr cow brain. My arms are quite sore, but strangly, my legs feel ok. Cuz I cycled only abt 2 hours, on half the journey back home. They cycle from East Coast to NTU and back again la! Siow de. Scenary at the Fullerton Hotel is very nice! Managed to take a pic with my camera phone (which is, um, not very good but well...)

I declare tt HuiMin and Elyse sucks!! So unfair... Tell things dun tell me de!! Humph! haha... but daoing HuiMin is quite fun! Purposely smile and Elyse and not at her, and see her give a what-the-hell-la face. Hahaha!! Anyway, I decided on my best friend list:

Good Friday turned out to be Bad Friday when i recieved a msg early in the moring.

"Tuition today, 5pm. Cya there." from my beloved tutor.

And so, last minute, aft rushing thru 4 questions of discrete random variables which is supposed to b my homework, i went for tuition. 10 mins late.

at tuition, ms quek offered us belgium chocolates. i took one in the shape of a fish, very cute! and i put the whole thing in my mouth while Nay was slowly nibbling. And she looked at me in a weird way. Jasmine, who was sitting in front of me, declined the choc. "Braces." she said. Ms Quek nodded. Then she turned her attention to the other braces girl sitting behind Jasmina (me), munching on the choc happily. And she gave me a weird look.

After that, I went to meet ck. Me to buy my long overdue birthday present for one of my best friends. And him to shop for some stupid clothes he dun really need. (which he eventually bought) And guess who we met? OMG! IT'S THE PON STAR OF THE CENTURY: SHANANA!! She went to haf dinner with her sec sch frens (i tot her only sec sch fren was Ade. hahaha...)

Anyway, I'm in a super good mood!! CUZ I BOUGHT APPLE'S LONG OVERDUE PERSENT!!! yess! After searching for like, 5 shops? And i bought the last piece of the music box! ck lah, tt idiot. curse me, say will out of stock. which was wad happened. but anyway, the display set looks ok, so i got it anyway. and there is this very cute giraffe cup which says 'best friends'. I was quite tempted to buy it, but then, it's $7.90 for a tiny cup which is juz about the size of my handphone. Like abit bo hua, so i nv buy in the end. Anyway, i got the music box!! which is so the main point.

Small update about my life then. sunday was well, Sunday. but it was nice, cuz got no tuition!! wahahaha... i miss my sundays when i'm so free!~

i was almost late for school today. i decided that i shall not miss the 133 bus again. running into the parade grounds after the commander has shouted 'baris serdiya' is so not fun. and i sweat like mad later. kukugers think's he's doing students a favour when he ask for transfer. haha. wad a joke. well, he would do us a favour if he transfer himself away. huimin was eating in the lt today. tsk tsk. see la, attract the kukugers.

I'm up!!! Only after slightly less than 6 hours of sleep!

Last night, or rather this morning, cheeki and I were haveing a mini competition: to see who can keep awake the longest. it started around 11+, after I was done with econs mcq(and tearing my brains out). To tell the truth, I wasn't sure I could hold out tt long. My mum make juz wake up in the middle of the night and demand that i go to sleep. (my typing is quiet noisy) But she didn't!!! Hahahahaha.... I thought I'd last till 7 at the most, which i told him. And at 6+.... it was the cow who fell asleep, not me!~ V for victory! :)
