I dun noe y i'm updating again. I guess i'm just bored. So here goes...
My Dad mentioned something about a FaLun Gong member writing a letter to MM Lee. He showed me the piece of paper. The e version can be found here. Spare you readers the wordy passage, it's just some crap about how S'pore is helping China prosecute the FLG members, and so on. All in all, the letter is an a personal, biased viewpoint. I would haf tot a leader could write a better, more formal letter, since addressing the MM. I think Vinny can write better than that. Like, for example,
" If you did not trade Falun Gong for better relations with the CCP, practitioners would forgive your mistake with compassion and tolerance. Unfortunately, your behaviors during last more than one year are disappointing. Your trusted Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Wong Kan Seng slandered our truth-clarification activities. Foreign Minister Yong-Boon Yeo slandered Falun Gong to flatter the CCP. "
Any english-secondary-school-educated idiot can tell u it's biased. u dun need a genius to figure that out. And this"
"...many people in Singapore still have misunderstandings of and discriminate against Falun Gong. Your attitude towards Falun Gong plays a major role in this situation, because in this country, your attitude shapes the law, the policies, and directly influences the orientation of the media.
However, with your present influence over the country, you are also the one who is able to correct this mistake. So long as you no longer insist on your above mentioned way of handling things, no longer coerce government officials to commit crimes against Falun Gong, no longer forcibly deprive Falun Gong practitioners of our legal rights endowed by the Singapore Constitution, and allow practitioners to enjoy a free environment for truth clarification, the Singapore people's misunderstanding of Falun Gong will be abated, and there will be a great positive impact on the people in Singapore. "
yea, right. if FLG is all that powerful, why is there a need for government, for science, for education, for religion?
Think about it. My viewpoint is quite biased too. :P
