Good news for.... ME!

I got into NTU's archery team! =)

Ok, I know what you're thinking. Look people, competitive team, not recre team ok! Bet u can't believe it now. Actually I can't either. but it's true!!

After 2 days of tough training, really got in! *happy happy* Hasn't been easy so far (and i doubt it will be in future) OMG 2 PT sessions a week, one full training saturday!! =( my saturdays are gone. Well, sat morning and afternoon anw. Still got sat night to go out. Lol.

Argh got 3 tutorials tml and havent finished any of the hw yet = screwed up. =( nvm, muz jia you!!

2nd week of uni life gone by.. i supposed i'm better adjusted to uni life now (i hope?). Haha. Profs are giving tutorial questions like free (OMG especially the calculus. darn calculus! but haf nice prof lei) ai. can nv finish tutorial no matter how much i pia after i reach hall. my plan was to finish most hw for mon's tutorial by thur evening, so fri can go home, sat and sun can enjoy. ai seem like such a stupid, simple way of thinking. simply cannot finish!! and it's only 2nd week. i wonder what's going to happen as the workload increase + more hall activities + cca coming up. ai. screwed up.

on a lighter (and happier) note, I BOUGHT MY LAPTOP!!

And went to watch fireworks today! dunno how to describe it but it was really really Damm Nice! *claps* and watching with the right person rocks. =)

The first week of uni have pretty much ended for me, thou it's only wednesday night. Tml's holiday and fri no lessons! Whee!~

Spent 2 nights at hostel so far. Pretty ok, no strange noises, shadows or anything =p the bed's not very soft thou =( tough luck. and the stupid school is so damm big it's making me pissed off. everyday, i have to walk from hall 2 to hall 1 (meet my frens) then walk uphill to lessons in the north spine, maybe to the canteen for lunch (walk downhill!!), maybe to another lecture (my god so many lecture halls how to find?!?!), then walk the same route (uphill then downhill) back to hall 2. So many staircases!! I think 3 days already covered 1000 steps of staircases. If there's one thing the school will never lack, it's staircase.

And the library's printing system sucks. Send a job to the print, wait 1 hour in the queue and you might not even get the printouts. The just get lost along the way. That's the problem with having too many ppl using library printers and attending a course which does not haf a lot of students (cuz they dun sell the lect notes. haf to print ourselves). so my new plan goes:
1)buy laptop
2)bring printer + laptop to hall
3)print my own lect notes

and my subject registration is not even finished yet!! Argh i need 18 AU and i only got my 15 core!! The rest how!! Ai very screwed up. System says no vacancy but prof claim still got alot of vacancy. Argh.

so summarises my 1st week in uni. aiyo screwed up. hope next week's better.

School's starting already!!

moved my stuff to my hostel room today. didn't bother unpacking since i'll have lots of time to do that tml. i have only 1 lesson tml. 1 only!! and it just has to be the 1st lesson of the day!! grrrr...

went for SPMS orientation + freshmen welcome day on friday. SPMS has a very kawaii hongkong prof! haha.. he really talk very cuteee!! he is the WISE(vice) professor who didn't work at the postal company during the strike cuz he's having exams. LOL. peiyee fell asleep during the speech thou. lol.

freshmen welcome day was boooring... they had this shine-the-torch thingy which i used to scare nathalie when the lights were off. Lol. Oh but I like the part where all the prof go on stage and sit (minus the speech part). Reminds me of harry potter! and all the prof wear robes that are kinda HP-like! i named them dumbledore, snape, flickwich, sprout etc and nathalie keep laughing!

after the ceremony thingy i went to meet ah ben + evon + huirong + john on mrt. went to clark quay to eat manhatten fish market to celebrate john's last day at work. met up with layyuan ay clark quay. oh i tried to make xiaobaicai(radish) sound english by saying xiaobaicai with the angmoh accent but john still dun understand. haha!! then the rest laugh at me =( john is very bwg with us!

somehow, john became our papa and ben became our mama. and ben is the er-nai (mistress) cuz john is engaged. and john very pei he and play along with us.
ben: "blah blah blah (4got wad) oh no i seem to be teaching u bad stuff."
john: "isn't what mistresses are supposed to do?"
haha!! ben got totally bwg!! and the 4 gals self-high!!

enjoyable outing =) looking forward to the next!
