New pictures of torture!! *self-high*

my buddy Shimin... got plaster! Cuz liu(2) xue(3)...

Qiqian again... swell like egg like that. Oh and got the arm guard mark. and this was after she put zam bak in the morning.

Ok enough sadistic pictures for now. Ah.. tired tired. 2 straight days of training + bbq last night = cui!! (eh not my gor la...) cant say how glad i was to be at home and bathe. but seriously last night bbq was quite fun! so to specially come down on thur to pei them prepare was worth it. oh and the budget was... hehehe. eh miscommunication la!

the bbq supposedly started with me reaching the bbq pit at 5.30pm (we were supposed to meet at 5 to chop the pit) then no one was around. so i sat and wait. then jia hann came. then a while later, gavin, jian kai, and a few of them guys came with stuff from crystal's room. then ppl started coming.. and the 1st thing to prepare was..... the pit! (Duh. what else) and then the drinks!! turns out there was cooler and syrup! then the guys started saying how it tasted like army drink. dots. and they started cooking without butter before they realised there wasn't butter. -_- and then weiqiang went to get jason's room's key to get the butter which is in jason's room. and by that time about 1 pkt of hotdogs alr cooked and eaten up liao.

chef of the day (at pit) was gavin(our yr de) and gan die(xiangyuan)... we had this interesting convo that went:
meecheng: "aiyo so paiseh they work so hard we eye power"
me: "aiya cuz they hog on to tongs ma. only got 2 tongs. not our fault."
gandie: "ok lor!" *put down tongs and cross arms*
me: "okok i take that back."
gandie: "*diao me and continue to cook*
and mee cheng stand there and laugh!! :(

and jason made his famous taco pachi! and it tasted very nice! i was kan cheong to try and pop the whole thing into my mouth. bad move. ultra hot. i practically jump and zhengyun laugh at me cuz i cant eat the nice, melting mashmallow cuz the taco pachi was still in my mouth (too hot abit hard to swallow you know) oh and there was the senior gavin who juz pop a piping hot taco pachi into him mouth, bite, and swallow like it's not hot at all. and he say "maybe cuz i thick skin" Lol.

zhengyun and i were ultra entertained by his '1/2 chinese, 1/4 malay, 1/8 indian, 1/8 eurasian' bloodline. and he speaks chinese weirdly but reads chinese word very normally (we experiment by asking him to read the chinese microwave instructions) then him and zhengyun tried to converse in jap which got me totally lost. the only part i understand was " my name is gavin, what's yours?(in jap)" and i replied "watashiwa sakura. sakura-san" and he went "blah blah" (dun remb what it was) which really meant "you mean the sakura tree sakura?" and i can only say "hai hai" to it and everything else he asks. Lol...

and there were the taco pachi cooks shangmei and crystal, and of cuz, jason the king of taco pachi. and mee cheng, shangmei's assistant. and me the chao-da-tach-pachi-dresser whose job is to cover the taco pachi in mayo and fish flakes (tuna whatever fish flakes, according to senior gavin)

our accomplishment was to finish 6 packets of mashmallows!! main culprits were eric, zhengyun, and me. bbq-ed mashmallows are nice!!! think i ate more mashmallows than anything else. and satay became in high demand cuz can use the satay stick to bbq mashmallows. and somehow it seems like tradition that freshies cook cuz weiqiang said he and shangmei were cooking last yr and it's gandie and gavin this yr.

and mark tried to take a picture of the moon -_- but he doesn't have a tripod and somehow it needs 15 seconds to take the picture so it was quite funny to see him hold his camera, trying hard not to tremble. and he has a new nickname called 'did-u-wash-it guy' cuz he kept asking the question. 1st he asked about the tongs, then about the corn. and he gave me the idea to call him that for the rest of the year (hmmm mayb till next bbq ba)

then at 9 plus ppl started leaving... mee cheng left too. then after that i got a call from mee cheng via shimin's phone. apparently my hp and keys still in her bag! haha... luckily gan die nv left his keys with me sia. so i walked over to can 2 bus stop to meet mee cheng (shimin and zhengyun pei me) and we chatted with her for a while. when we walked back, waht's left of the ppl were in a circle playing games. like the 'which station next?' and 'meh meh jump over the wall' game. weiqiang very funny! keep trying to guess and asking ppl to repeat the question. when he finally guessed he was like "YES!! YES!!" and even thou he gave a very very obvious correct answer, joel and shimin(sitting beside me) still cant guess. so they conclude that vj brains are not meant for such things. and i dunno the 'around the world in 80 days'. everyone make me guess until pek chek and gandie gave up. he told me "we're playing a game. the game is called THE." and qifen went "Thailand, Holland, Ethiopia" then i finally get it.. aiyo so slow.

oh the group photo!! we had one taken by farhan on the slope.. then everyone turn 180 degrees and those initially behind squat down and i became on the back row. and that was when i realised noel has tall hair. (he is very bwg by this) hope mark (or whoever is holding on to camera) send us the photo soon! (eh i hope mark reads this) haha.

Birthday blue.... or not.

15 Sept 2007: My birthday

6.45am: Wake up.

7.30am: Rush out of house.

9.00am: Reach school.

9.30am: Finish warm up, started to help change shooting board.

9.45am: HEAVY RAIN!! OMG. Drenched from head to toe.

1200pm:Present from archery gals! *touched*

Rest of the day until 4pm: Training.

6.10pm: Meet chix!

Rest of the day until 2am: Cel;ebrate birthday! Yay!

Hmmmm so i cant decide whether i had a nice birthday or not. :P

I'm now watching the Jap version of Hanakimi (花样少男少女). The girl playing Ashiya Mizuki(Ruixi) is sooo kawaiiiiiiiii! She looks like a cute little boy in the show!!

Thank you Elyse, Devi and Huimin (shall not call u cow here since u were so nice). Lol super touched yesterday!! The gang bought cake for me to celebrate my pre-birthday during our outing. Super touched that they remember! =) And they waited 2 hours for me some more cuz i was ul;tra late due to unforseen circumstances. *happy happy* Went Billy Bombers at Marina to eat dinner with them. I love root beer float! Min was tempted by cocktail but in the end order root beer float instead. (No alcohol so drink beer. Lol) Elyse wanted to go toilet so i accompany her, then devi and min took the opportunity to set up the cake. But elyse DID really wanted to go to the toilet. it wasn't an excuse but devi and min tot that she was juz acting. LOL!

And helping out at archery competition was really kinda fun! Thou there were long hours, hot sun and sudden downpour (ok, downpour was an understatement. it was practically a storm). Worst rain for any competition so far, according to jocelyn. And we were 'lucky' enough to experience it on our 1st time at competition grounds. Lol. The seniors all quite friendly, and everyone went -_- about the mushroom joke. Lol! And Mark oso gave me a lame joke to guess. Oh and there's Mrs Soh's other son! Haha... ok, so i learnt that I know all of mrs soh's children and mrs soh has a sister (mrs heng) who's teaching physics in ny. Lol i didnt know that at all! Mayb when i saw her i tot it was mrs soh ba. haha...

and there's qifen who's from S3C but we've nv seen each other in sch b4. And there are alot of ny ppl in ntu archery. and (surprisingly!) got some mayflower-nyjc-ntu-archery ppl too! Seniors. Rare de! Oh the ex-ny seniors are surprised by the change in ny house tee and pe tee. lol they used to haf cobra house -_-like cobra of all animals?! i still like phoenix cuz we haf nice house shirt =)

and i'm red!! Juz hope my tan dun fade off in a week's time. hao be rong yi get a bit of tan.
ok, s0 my conclusion is that archery competition is fun and in a way, also bonds us together cuz we need to work tgt to get things done.
